Manage Projects, Versions, and Generated Videos

Find and open a project

Open Projects from the main navigation. You can also select Go to my projects from Home.

The My Projects page displays the following information:

From this page, you can:

• Search by project name using Search for a project.
• Use All project types to filter the list.
• Select a column heading to change the sort order.
• Use the page controls to move through a longer project list.
• Select a project to open it and continue working.

Select Create Project when you need to start a new Translation, Personalization, Dialogue Replacement, or Multi-speaker project.

Understand how projects are organized

The structure inside a project depends on its type.

LipDub uses slightly different terms across workflows, but each generated video remains connected to the project that created it.

Return to work that is still in progress

You do not need to keep the project page open while LipDub is processing, training, or generating.

To continue later:

1. Open Projects.
2. Search for or select the project.
3. Return to the relevant stage of the workflow.
4. Check the current status before making further changes.

A project can contain completed outputs while another action is still running. For example, one language or audio version may be ready while another is still generating.

Use Refresh status where it is available, or reopen the project to view the latest state.

Understand project and generation statuses

The exact status wording may vary slightly by workflow.

If a generation or actor-training action fails because of a technical error, the credits used for that attempt are normally refunded automatically.

Important: Contact support@lipdub.ai when one processing, training, or generation action has remained in progress for more than two hours. Also contact support when a failed action does not receive the expected credit refund.

Rename projects and source content

Descriptive names make it easier to find the correct project and distinguish between multiple source files or versions.

You can rename:

• Projects
• Scenes in a Multi-speaker project
• Campaigns in a Personalization project
• Uploaded source files

To rename an item, open its options menu or edit control, enter the new name, and save the change.

Renaming an item changes how it is identified in LipDub. It does not change the underlying media.

Tip: Include useful details such as the client, campaign, source language, scene, or production date in your names. Avoid relying on names such as “Untitled Project” when several people use the same account.

Manage multiple versions within a project

Most projects can produce more than one output from the same source content.

Training data remains connected to its project and cannot currently be transferred between different project types.

Identify versions clearly

Where LipDub asks you to name a result, such as in Multi-speaker projects, use a name that distinguishes its purpose or settings.

For example:

• French — Style 1
• Spanish — Captions
• Client Review — Expressiveness 4
• Scene 2 — Final Audio
• Social Cut — Standard
• Master — Pro 4K

This is especially useful when comparing different audio takes, languages, training models, resolutions, or Expressiveness settings.

Review a completed video

When a result is ready:

1. Open the project.
2. Select the completed language, recipient, dub, or named result.
3. Play the video from beginning to end.
4. Use Original and Lipdubbed to compare versions where those controls are available.
5. Check the dialogue, timing, lip-sync, and visual consistency.
6. Download the result when it is ready to use.

Pay particular attention to:

• The beginning and end of spoken sections
• Names and specialized terminology
• Audio timing
• Transitions between lip-synced and original footage
• Speaker assignments
• Captions, when enabled
• Cuts and scene changes

Some result pages include thumbs-up and thumbs-down controls under Good result? Use these controls to provide quality feedback to LipDub.

Download or share generated videos

Delivery options vary by project type.

Personalization links

Personalization results can be shared using direct links.

These links are:

• Publicly viewable by anyone who has the URL
• Unlisted
• Not indexed or publicly listed by LipDub
• Available while the associated account and project remain active

LipDub does not send the links to the email addresses in your CSV. Use Export CSV when you need to transfer recipient details and video links into an external email, CRM, or campaign platform.

Important: A Personalization link stops working when its project is deleted.

Delete a project

You can delete a project when its source files and outputs are no longer needed.

Deleting a project removes:

• Uploaded source media
• Supplemental footage
• Project settings
• Training data stored within the project
• Generated audio
• Generated videos and other outputs

For a Personalization project, deletion also disables every direct video link associated with that project.

Warning: Download all required videos, audio, and exported CSV files before deleting a project.

Use the project’s delete option and confirm the deletion when prompted.

Resolve a missing or incomplete result

When you cannot find an expected result:

1. Confirm that you opened the correct project.
2. Check the appropriate campaign, language, scene, audio version, or results menu.
3. Review the action’s current status.
4. Refresh the status where that option is available.
5. Confirm that the generation was started and did not fail.
6. Check the next page when the project or result list is paginated.

Contact support@lipdub.ai when:

• One action has been running for more than two hours.
• Processing, training, or generation repeatedly fails.
• A completed result does not appear in the project.
• A technical failure was not automatically refunded.
• A downloaded file or Personalization link is unavailable unexpectedly.
