Access billing information
Account Owners and Admins can select Access billing to open the billing portal and manage the billing information available for the account.
Users without Admin access cannot access billing.
Cancel a subscription
A paid subscription can be cancelled during an active billing cycle.
When you cancel:
- The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No additional subscription payments are charged after the current period.
- Paid access remains available until the billing period ends.
- Processed subscription payments are non-refundable.
- Remaining credits and account data follow the expiration and retention rules described later in this guide.
Download any source files or generated results you need before the account reaches the end of its post-cancellation retention period.
Understand LipDub credits
Credits are consumed by actions such as:
- Training an actor
- Generating or regenerating audio
- Creating Personalization results
- Generating final lip-synced or audio dubbed videos
The exact credit charge can vary based on your subscription, account agreement, video, training model, output settings, and selected workflow.
LipDub displays an estimated cost before applicable training and generation actions. For the detailed charges applied to your account, use Credit Usage History.
Purchase additional credits
Select your credit balance in the top-right corner of LipDub AI to open the Purchase top up credits window.
- Select an available credit package.
- Review the displayed price.
- Select Purchase Credits.
An active subscription is required to purchase top-up credits. Available packages and prices are shown in the platform and may change over time.
Review Credit Usage History
Credit Usage History provides a transaction-level record of how credits have been added to or deducted from your account.
To open it:
- Select the account menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Credit usage history.
The Credit Usage page contains the following information:
Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
Type | The type of activity, such as training, audio generation, or final generation |
Description | The project, output, or action associated with the charge |
User email | The account user who initiated the action, where available |
Credit amount | The number of credits added or deducted |
Credit balance | The remaining account balance after the activity |
Date | When the activity occurred |
Use the page controls to review older activity.
Export your credit history
Select Export .csv to download the account’s credit-usage records.
The exported file can be used for:
- Internal cost tracking
- Reconciling usage by account user
- Reviewing project expenses
- Investigating an unexpected balance
- Maintaining finance or production records
Understand credit expiration
Credits expire according to how they were purchased.
Credit source | Expiration |
|---|---|
Monthly subscription credits | 60 days after the purchase date |
Top-up credits | 60 days after the purchase date |
Annual subscription credits | 425 days after the purchase date |
Credits remaining after cancellation | 30 days after the subscription ends |
The 30-day cancellation period overrides any longer expiration period that would otherwise apply.
Important: Pausing a subscription does not pause or extend the expiration period for existing credits.
Understand refunds and failed actions
Subscription payments
Subscription payments are non-refundable after they have been processed. LipDub does not issue full or partial subscription refunds based on account usage.
Technical failures
When a final generation or actor-training attempt fails because of a technical error, LipDub normally refunds the credits for that attempt automatically.
Review Credit Usage History to confirm that the credits were returned.
Contact support@lipdub.ai when:
- A failed generation or training attempt was not refunded.
- The returned amount appears incorrect.
- You need help identifying a charge in Credit Usage History.
User input and configuration issues
Credits are not refunded for user errors, including:
- Uploading the wrong source file
- Providing incorrect or poorly prepared audio
- Choosing the wrong actor, language, or setting
- Incorrectly timed speaker audio
- Misusing a workflow or tool
- Dissatisfaction caused by submitted content or configuration choices
Review your source files, speaker assignments, timing, and generation settings before starting a credit-consuming action.
Add users to your account

Billing access is currently the primary difference between User and Admin roles.

Subscription → LipDub API Key
From this page, you can:
- Select Generate new key to create an API key.
- Select Copy to clipboard to copy the current key.
- Select Delete to remove it.
Warning: Treat your LipDub API key like a password. Do not publish it, include it in shared documents, or send it in an unsecured message.
When you believe a key has been exposed, delete it and generate a new one.
Connect an ElevenLabs account
You can connect your own ElevenLabs account to access compatible pre-trained voice models inside LipDub.
To connect it:
- Open Subscription.
- Select ElevenLabs API Key from the settings menu.
- Select Add ElevenLabs API Key.
- Enter the API key from your ElevenLabs account.

Connected voices may then appear as an option when choosing a voice in a supported LipDub workflow.
Keep the following in mind:
- Keep the ElevenLabs API key secure.
- Make sure the connected ElevenLabs account remains in good standing.
- Make sure the ElevenLabs account has any credits or access required to use its voices.
- Issues with the external account, its credit balance, or a compromised key must be resolved through ElevenLabs.
Understand data privacy
Your uploaded and generated content is private to your LipDub account.
LipDub does not use your:
- Source videos
- Training footage
- Actor-training data
- Generated videos
- Voice data
- Likeness data
to train or improve its models.
Your account data is privately sandboxed from other customer accounts. Only authorized users within your own account can access its content.
Understand data retention after cancellation
LipDub retains account data while a subscription is active or officially paused.
When a cancelled subscription reaches the end of its final billing cycle:
- The account enters a 30-day data-retention period.
- During this period, download any source files or results you still require.
- At the end of the 30 days, all data associated with the cancelled account is automatically and permanently deleted.
This includes uploaded media, training data, projects, and generated outputs.
Warning: Permanently deleted account data cannot be restored. Download all required files before the retention period ends.
